Korea,
here we come
Our full route through Korea — five cities across thirteen nights. Tap any spot to open it in Naver Map, then save the page to your phone and follow along. Welcome to the crew ♡
D1 Arrive in Seoul
Land & settle in
Fly into Gimpo Airport, grab a T-money transit card + SIM/eSIM, then head to the hotel to drop your bags and ease into the first night.
D2 Seoul day
Bukchon Hanok Village
Wander the lanes of restored traditional hanok houses — one of Seoul's prettiest morning strolls, five minutes from the palace.
D2 Seoul day
Myeongdong
Street-food heaven and skincare shopping. Come hungry — tteokbokki, hotteok, grilled cheese lobster, the lot.
D2 Seoul day
N Seoul Tower (Namsan)
Cable car up Namsan for the classic city view. Best at sunset when the lights come on across Seoul.
D3 Morning · 09:00
Hire hanbok — plus sizes available
Be at the shop for the 9:00 opening. Seohwa Hanbok (1 min from Gyeongbokgung Stn Exit 4) carries women's sizes up to 4XL — fits roughly a 150–160cm chest, the biggest range right by the palace. About 24,000₩ for 4 hrs / 32,000₩ full day, with free hair braiding. Bring a passport for the deposit and reserve ahead via Instagram @seohwahanbok. Fitting + hair takes 30–45 min. Yes Hanbok nearby is a solid plus-size backup.
D3 ~10:00
Gyeongbokgung Palace
Walk over in your hanbok — it gets you free entry and skips the ticket line. Aim for the 10:00 royal guard-changing ceremony at Gwanghwamun Gate (about 20 min, free to watch even from outside). Palace opens 09:00; closed Tuesdays.
D3 Evening
Train to Chuncheon
Return the hanbok by early afternoon (last returns are around 3pm / before the shop closes), grab lunch near the palace, then the evening train to Chuncheon. Tonight's bed: The Venezia Suites.
D3 Night
Arrive in Chuncheon
Roll in on the evening train and settle into The Venezia Suites — your Chuncheon base for the first two nights.
D4 Chuncheon
Nami Island
The half-moon island of tree-lined lanes (the Winter Sonata one). Ferry across, rent a bike, wander the metasequoia path.
D4 Chuncheon
Gangchon Rail Bike
Pedal a rail bike along a retired railway through tunnels and river valleys — about 8km of ridiculous scenery. Boards near Gimyujeong Station.
D4 Chuncheon
Chuncheon dakgalbi
Chuncheon invented dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) — eat it at the source on the city's dakgalbi alley.
D5 Chuncheon
Move to Jackson9s Hotel
Check out of the Venezia and shift to Jackson9s Hotel for the next two nights.
D5 Chuncheon
Soyanggang Skywalk
A glass-floored walkway stretching out over the lake — an easy, scenic afternoon stop near town.
D6 Legoland
Legoland Korea — all day
Big day out at Legoland Korea, on its own island just outside Chuncheon. Back to Jackson9s for the night.
D7 Moving on
Chuncheon → Daegu
Morning train back to Seoul, then onward to Daegu — usually a quick KTX from Seoul Station. Next stop, Daegu.
D7 Daegu
Check in · Daegu
Settle into February Hotel right on Dongseong-ro, Daegu's lively downtown shopping street — cafés and eats on the doorstep.
D7 Evening
Seomun Market night market
Perfect for an evening arrival — one of Korea's biggest traditional markets turns into a buzzing night market. Try napjak-mandu (flat dumplings) and kalguksu.
D7 Evening
Kim Kwang-seok Road
A 350m mural street honouring the beloved folk singer, with buskers and cafés. Loveliest at dusk.
D8 On to the coast
Galaxy Hotel, Pohang
Head to the east coast for two nights at the Galaxy Hotel by Yeongil Bay.
D8 Pohang
Yeongildae Beach
Pohang's main beach with a promenade and the lit-up Yeongildae pavilion out over the water — a lovely evening walk.
D8 Pohang
Pohang Space Walk
A walkable steel 'rollercoaster' sculpture at Hwanho Park — climb the spiral track for coastal views. Free, and best at sunset.
D9 By the sea
Homigot Sunrise Square
The easternmost tip of the peninsula, famous for the giant 'Hand of Harmony' sculptures rising from land and sea.
D9 By the sea
Guryongpo Japanese House Street
A preserved colonial-era street of wooden houses and seafood spots — a filming location for When the Camellia Blooms.
D10 On to Busan
Haeundae Central Hotel
Move to Busan for four nights by Haeundae Beach — the resort-y heart of the city.
D10 Busan
Haeundae Beach
Korea's most famous beach is right on your doorstep. Kick off with a barefoot stroll and dinner nearby.
D10 Evening
The Bay 101
Waterfront night-view spot where the Marine City skyline reflects off the harbour — a classic Busan first-night photo.
D11 Busan
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
A rare seaside temple perched on the coastal rocks with waves below — go early to beat the crowds. East side of the city.
D11 Busan
Haeundae Blue Line Park
Ride the Sky Capsule or beach train along the coast between Mipo and Cheongsapo — pastel pods over the sea.
D12 Busan
Gamcheon Culture Village
The pastel hillside village of murals, art shops and alleyways. Grab a coffee at a view café and get lost in it.
D12 Busan
Jagalchi Fish Market
Korea's biggest seafood market — pick something fresh downstairs and have it served upstairs. Nampo side.
D12 Busan
Gukje Market & BIFF Square
Sprawling market alleys and the film-festival street next door — endless street food and browsing right by Jagalchi.
D13 Last full day
Gwangalli Beach & Gwangan Bridge
Beach bars looking out at the Diamond Bridge. On weekend nights there's a free drone light show over the bay — check the schedule.
D13 Last full day

A glass-floored coastal walkway and the Air Cruise cable car over the bay — a relaxed way to close out the trip.
