Ibiza is so much more than just a party island—it’s electric, enchanting, and effortlessly cool. I recently soaked up a week there for a friend’s 40th birthday getaway, where dancing, sailing, seaside sunsets, and chilled villa days blended into one unforgettable celebration. Here is my curated Ibiza with Friends – 6-Day Itinerary, designed for those who want it all: beats, sun, sea, and serenity.

Why Ibiza?
Ibiza isn’t just about the legendary nightlife (though that’s part of the magic). It’s a place where medieval alleyways, sun-drenched villas, sparkling waters, and iconic clubs intersect. It’s an island of contrasts—music and calm, luxury and authenticity, party and peace. Whether you’re dancing ’til dawn or floating on a catamaran, Ibiza offers it all.
Before You Go: Essentials
Flights & Arrival
We flew direct from London with EasyJet—super straightforward and plentiful options across all London airports.
Villa or Hotel?
A villa was our dream base. Pool, big kitchen, outdoor dining, cool dark rooms—all perfect for post-party recovery and group bonding.

Group Expense Management
Use Splitwise to divvy up group costs—super handy with real-time currency conversion and PayPal/Venmo integrations.
Day 1: Arrival, Villa Time & Late-Night Starter
Landed, breezed past the drama (though, funnily, someone did lock themselves in the loo mid-flight!), and slid into our villa’s tranquil charm. Cool interiors and great communal zone for food and lounging.

That night, our first stop was Hï Ibiza—a show-stopping club with mind-blowing visuals and an epic Eric Prydz set that instantly felt Ibiza-authentic. A dusk swim back at the villa sealed the perfect first-day vibe.
Day 2: Legendary Nightlife
We headed to Amnesia, a throwback to ’90s–00s heydays with massive sound, nostalgic beats, and electric energy.
We split into a group taxi or van (much cheaper and smarter than waiting for cabs), usually grabbing pre-drinks at the villa before hitting the clubs.
Day 3: Sailing the Med
Morning after the party, we still made it to our private catamaran. Twelve of us, gliding through turquoise waters, cocktails delivered poolside style right to the boat, paddle-boarding, sunning, and ocean indulgence. Pure bliss.
We would never have been able to afford this alone, so splitting costs amongst a bunch of friends made it totally doable.

Day 4: Old Town Evenings & Relaxed Magic

Post-sailing, we wandered into Ibiza’s Old Town. Cobblestones, charming restaurants, fairy lights—it felt magical.
We dined at La Brasa, where candles and laughter lit the courtyard. Our friend’s first date spot had come full circle—such a nostalgic, movie-like moment.
Ibiza has excellent Mediterranean food and I feel like this gets overlooked because of the nightlife and clubbing scene. Spending a beautiful night out under the stars, eating delicious food really can’t be beat.
Day 5: The Chill Chapter
After four days of non-stop energy, we opted to slow down—villa life, lounging, daylight bliss, and mindful recovery. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew carried on partying—it’s all good vibes all around.
Top Clubs to Know (if you’re feeling up for it):
- Pacha Ibiza – glamorous, legendary, iconic.
- Amnesia – massive sound, rave energy.
- Ushuaïa – open-air glitz meets mega-DJs.
- Hï Ibiza – supremely sleek with immersive experiences.
- DC10 – underground cult techno scene, perfect for the music purists.

FAQs
Q: Is Ibiza just clubbing?
A: Absolutely not. It has ancient charm, scenic coastlines, quiet beaches, and artistic spaces to explore.
Q: Is the tap water okay?
A: Technically drinkable—but salty! Stock up on bottled water—it’s cheap and better for hangover cures.
Q: Are things expensive?
A: Yes—especially at clubs and bars. €10 for a small water, €25 for a gin and tonic can add up quickly. Pre-drinks at the villa? Wise move.
Final Thoughts
Ibiza is the perfect fusion of beats and beaches, parties and peace. A villa keeps the vibe grounded, relaxing, and connected. Old Town offers warmth and history when you want to trade the strobe lights for sunsets. If you’re looking for the best deals on activities in Ibiza, check out our Klook link for great discounts.
Would I return? In a heartbeat. And yes—I’d do it all again, maybe with a smaller party staying in Old Town next time.
